The Brawler is mystified by Milwaukee Journal Sentinel edit board member Ernst-Ulrich Franzen's defense of Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walkersha in response to Capper's call for Walkersha's recall.
Disagreement "is not a reason to have someone recalled"? "Save recalls for folks who have committed malfeasance or have otherwise behaved badly"?
Tell it to California Republicans!
(Franzen's claims that Walker has been "honest" and has "maintained his principles" are laughable -- the man who believed in having the peoples voices heard opposed a nonbinding referendum on increasing the county sales tax -- as Cap points out.)
Walker's refusal to seek federal dollars to address hundreds of millions in deferred maintenance -- hiding behind a fig leaf that the county will have to cover 20% of the cost (as opposed to ultimately the whole tab) -- is bad behavior under any meaningful definition of the term. Milwaukee County, due in no small part to Scott Walker, is rich with "shovel-ready" projects that could be worked on immediately. (Once again, to Capper on Walkersha's weak defense of his position. No word on whether Jesus told Walker not to seek stimulus money.)
As the Recess Supervisor points out, Walker is happy to have his constituents pay for a stimulus package without benefiting from it.
Recall Scott Walker, even if it means waiting until April!
I don't know whose picture is better: Yours with the appropriate caption, or mine which I think captures his true character.

Actually I lifted it from elsewhere on the intertubes.
