The Brawler was right. Jessica McBride did delete a passage praising Ann Coulter in a recent post.
Brawler reader Cream City, a more intrepid Google sleuth than the Brawler, exposes Jessica's revisionist posting about the "brilliant" Ann Coulter's book Godless.
So...why did Jessica see fit to excise the below text? The plagiarism controversy swirling around the brilliant Coulter? Or the fact that Ann's brilliant views on evolution -- which Jessica says makes the book worth buying -- are as credible as Kevin Barrett's views on 9/11?
Here it is (lifted from comments to "And Jessica says Doyle dodges questions...":
Google mcbride barrett coulter
Up comes http://72.14.209.104/search?q=cache:t93LtEB_glUJ:www.620wtmj.com/_content/talk/jessicamcbride/index.asp%3Fid%3D125%26entry%3D21240+mcbride+barrett+coulter&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=4&client=firefox-a
It shows this paragraph originally at the end:BTW, since we're talking about Ann Coulter (thanks for the compliment, Kevin!)... I finished Coulter's book the other day. I still disagree with her line about the widows enjoying their husband's deaths (went too far), although those on the left miss her satirical edge and seize on an errant line or two so they don't have to deal with the rest of her argumentation. Much of the rest of the book is brilliant. It's worth buying for her chapters on evolution and Willie Horton alone.
Thanks, Cream City, whoever and wherever you are!
You're welcome, whoever you are.
Sorry for misposting or misplacing the post or whatever I did, and then not being able to repost in the correct place because I lost my connection to the internets, whatever they are.
Glad that whoever you are, you found it wherever it was. Enough! (This is making my head hurt even more than when I read McBucher.)
Ohhhh, my head hurts.
