Patrick McIlheran, nominal Catholic, says Congress should be ashamed that questions were raised whether former USA Steven Biskupic may have prosecuted Georgia Thompson for Republican political gain. Biskupic was exonerated by Barack HUSSEIN Obama's Justice Department of any taint.
That said, Patrick elides a big part of the Biskupic story -- namely that he was put on a White House list of weak USAs who, from the GOP perspective, did not adequately exploit the voter fraud issue. Biskupic, as we are not told by McIlheran, was denounced to none other than Karl Rove by RPW apparatchik Rick Wiley (punkd by Bisk on claims of Double Voting here).
Biskupic, following up on a RPW caging operation of poor competence and dubious legality (and note that Biskupic did not investigate hyped up efforts by the RPW to hype voter fraud), found there was no evidence of a voter fraud conspiracy in Wisconsin
Yet McIlheran has not once said that Republicans should apologize to Bisk. Though of course Paddy is liable to omit Bisk's findings when he routinely bangs the voter fraud gong.
But frankly, the Brawler suspects Bisk is somewhat of a tool. Let's recall he prosecuted voter fraud cases that were "beyond thin" .
