Bass Pro Shops is balking at going into a Green Bay development that, thanks to special treatment a Walker contributor is getting, will be built on wetlands. "We don't build on wetlands," a company spokesman said. Still, Scott Walker seems to think they'll reconsider.
Walker, suspecting most companies are like Menards in not giving a shit about the environment, is apparently unaware that Bass Pro Shops is led by a moonbat who's received all sorts of conservation awards from groups like the National Wildlife Federation.
Assembly Speaker Jeff Fitzgerald (with help from overgrown frat boy turned Republican flack John Jagler?) and Sykes et al are blaming this on Dems for notifying Bass Pro Shops of the wetlands situation, when, clearly, they should have not been told.
No kidding. Ultimately Bass Pro Shops to be successful needs unspoiled wilderness for their customers to troop around in. Yet another example of Republicans not really being pro-business.
